  • Arizona Emergency Medical Professional certifications expire every 2 years from the date of initial issuance. For recertification, an applicant shall submit one of the following:

    • Certificate of course completion of an applicable refresher course or refresher challenge examination OR
    • Documentation of current NREMT certification OR
    • Completion of continuing education hours as listed on Arizona EMS FAQs (click to view)
